Carbon Monitoring, Reporting & Verification
Measurement, monitoring, reporting and verification (MMRV) of carbon emissions is becoming increasingly important as emissions continue to increase and governments increase their endeavours to curb emissions in line with commitments made at various UN COPs, notably Paris (2015) and Glasgow (2022).
Working with expert MMRV companies we are able to provide a stepped programme of analysis, reporting and recommendations for action, thus keeping the reporting costs lean and low until further data is required:
Desk based energy and emissions audits using a company’s utility bills and some simple information on its buildings; this can be performed in turn in three levels of detail (see Commercial Buildings Energy Savings)
Satellite data, often open source available from various UN agencies combined with commercially available databases
Aerial overflight by low flying planes fitted with sensors and recording data
Site visits to carry out a full building assessment
use of sensors and/or monitor fitted drones
